Duration of Study

a.  The Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing is 18 months course, comprising of three semesters:

        First Semester                     ————-          18 weeks

       Second Semester                  ————-           18 weeks

       Third Semester                    ————-           39 weeks

b.  Psychiatric orientation for school of Nursing:- 8 weeks each for each of the four schools of

     nursing in the state.

c. Training of B.Sc. Nursing students of University of Calabar in Teaching Skills.
