Pregnancy while Training

For the avoidance of doubt, the Council has directed in her circular that:-

 

 

 

“Any student who is pregnant while in School shall continue her training, provided she has not been

 

absent from training for more than twenty-eight (28) days. Any pregnant student who is absent

 

from training for more than 28 days shall be demoted for a period of six (6) months”.

School/Clinical Time Schedule

The official time for the commencement of lectures in the school is from 8.00am to 2.30pm daily; Mondays to Fridays and students are entitled to 30 minutes break. Loitering is not allowed. Students are expected to be in their school uniform while in school, the Clinical Area, official time for commencement of duty is :- Morning duty: 7:30am to 2:00pm Afternoon duty: 1.30pm to 8pm Night duty: 7:30pm to 8:00am

Shift/Off-Duty Entitlement

Students who are on shift duty in the clinical areas shall be entitled to the following off duty days:- Morning duty: five(5) days - two(2) days off. Afternoon duty: five(5) days - two(2) days off. Night duty: three(3) days - two(2) days off.
