Course Work
The course work or continuous Assessment shall constitute 30% of the total marks obtainable
during each semester.
Semester Examinations
Each Semester Examination shall be in two (2) parts of 3 hours for each subject. That is, Essay
paper of 3 questions and Objective paper of 100 questions both shall constitute 70% of the total
marks obtainable by the students. A pass in all the subjects is mandatory for all students.
Re-Sit Examination
Re-sit examination is only applicable to the semester examinations. Re-sit Examination shall be
arranged for students who were unsuccessful in the primary examinations two weeks after the
release of the result.
Oral Practical Examination
A 60 minutes practical examination in the clinical setting and 10 minutes oral examination shall be
held at the end of each semester.
Hospital Final Examination
This shall be the final examination conducted by the school to select those students who are
academically sound enough to sit for the Final Qualifying Examination (FQE) of the Council. This
written and oral practical level as well as the submission of one approved Client Care Study before
a student is registered for FQE of the Council.
