Education and Research Committee

The education and Research Committee of the school which is established in line with the N&MCN

directives and is saddled with the following functions:

–  To plan academic programme in line with the N&MCN directives and the school curriculum.

–  To review from time to time the academic direction of the school and advice the AAC.

–  To determine areas and nature of clinical experiences for the students in line with the N&MCN

    and the school’s curriculum.

–  To approve topics and areas of research project for the students.

–  To carry out research on issues affecting nursing education and practice.

–  To collaborate with other institutions and agencies in research study.

–  To review the school curriculum in line with N&MCN approved Curriculum.

–  To review from time to time the practical manual for the :-

1.  First Semester Examination

2. Second Semester Examination

3. Third Semester Examination

4. Hospital Final Examination

The Final Qualifying Examination which is an external examination shall be conducted by the

N&MCN for those students who have passed the hospital Final Examination at First Attempt.
